2019 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION WILL NOT BE HELD


The City of Woodstock will not be holding the Municipal General Election originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2019.   
Qualifying for Council Member Ward 2, 4 and 6 seats was held the 3rd week of August.  Incumbents, David Potts (Ward 2); Tracy Collins (Ward 4); and Rob Usher (Ward 6) all qualified for re-election with no opposition. They will take office of their new four-year term as Council Member on January 1, 2020 with a reception and Swearing In Ceremony being held on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 6 pm - 7 pm at the Chambers at City Center, 8534 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia.  Our next election will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 to fill the Mayor and Council Member Ward 1, 3 and 5 seats.
